Industrial metrology is suited to the following measurement tasks:

• Contour & Surface Measurements
  With our modularly designed measuring station we record roughness and contours.
  When doing so, we evaluate roughness in steel and plastic parts according to all industry
  standards such as Ra, Rz Rmax and so on.
  
  
• Gear measurements
  With the dual flank gear rolling instrument we can determine Total Composite Error (Fi), Tooth-to-Tooth Error (fi) Composite Runout Error (Fr), and the axial distance. Individual defects on profile and side lines are dealt with by means of the coordinate measurement device. In addition we work out pitch partition, gear runout, tooth thickness and further parameters.
  
  
• Optical Measurements
  Optical metrology allows us to measure the smallest of contours very precisely. For this purpose we have a video measuring microscope produced by OGP at our disposal as well as a VISCAN camera system connected to the Eclipse coordinate measurement device created by Zeiss.
  
  
• Tactile Measurements
  In the area of tactile metrology we have three Zeiss coordinate measurement devices, each in varying sizes, at our disposal. Our Prismo Vast has a rotary table unit and Eclipse is equipped with a VISCAN camera system.
