› Tactile Measurements
In the area of tactile metrology we have each of the following machines at our disposal in the GAUDLITZ Competence Center:
- Zeiss - Prismo Vast
- Zeiss - Eclipse
- Zeiss - UMC 850
By using a rotary table unit we are capable of carrying out individual defect testing on gears. This is done with Gear Pro – on normal rotationally symmetrical components. When doing this we identify Total Composite Error (Fi) ", Tooth-to-Tooth Error (fi), Composite Runout Error (Fr) and other parameters.
Zeiss – Eclipse
The complexity of components in medical engineering, automotive manufacture and industry is such that tactile the optical sensor systems are no longer sufficient. With the ViSCAN 2D optical probe, it is now possible to perform touch and optical measurements on one machine. In the tactile area we also have, in addition to the RDS, a VAST XXT scanning sensor at our disposal.
Zeiss UMC 850
We use our UMC 850 for larger components. The measuring range encompasses the following dimensions; 850 mm on the X axis, 1200 mm on the Y axis and as far as 600mm on the Z axis.
We use the following software:

- Umess UX
- Dimension
